Effective October 22, 2024, the Interac e-Transfer® email notifications will be updated to provide a better user experience and set up for more exciting future enhancements.
No action is required of members and you will continue to enjoy the same security and convenience of Interac e-Transfer but with an enhanced user experience.
What’s changing?
Interac has refreshed the design look and feel on all email notifications including:
- Q&A Receive and send notifications
- Autodeposit send, receive and registration notifications
- Request Money notifications
Why is Interac making these changes?
To provide a better user experience and also to prepare for more exciting future product enhancements.
Will the new email notifications impact any of my e-Transfer settings?
None of your Interac e-Transfer settings in your online banking or mobile banking app, such as Contacts and Autodeposit registration, will be impacted. You can continue to use Interac e-Transfer to send and receive funds as before.
Will the new email notifications affect my Autodeposit registration?
No, your Autodeposit registration will remain the same.
What to do if I don’t recognize the sender of the email notification?
If you don’t recognize the sender and you suspect that the email notification that you have received is fraudulent or a phishing attempt, do not click on any links and contact us immediately.
